Follow a chronicle of recent shipwreck exploration in Door County, Wisconsin. From September 11 to October 5, divers from the State Historical Society and East Carolina University examined several historic shipwrecks and described their work in the photographs and journal entries posted here.

Having successfully concluded the diving portion of their work, the archaeologists are now processing the data they gathered. They are also conducting further research into the history of the vessels. The researchers will update this Web site as they complete the maps of the wrecks and learn more about their history.
