Located on the south shore of Washington Island's Little Lake, the Jens Jacobson Museum houses an eclectic collection of natural and historical artifacts from the area, including ship models hand-carved by Jacobsen himself.

Outside the museum you will find large artifacts salvaged years ago from area shipwrecks. The huge rudder from the shipwreck of the Louisiana highlights this interesting assembly.
