Description:

Located on the west shore of the Sturgeon Bay Canal, the Door County Maritime Museum features exhibits on the maritime history of Door County. Open year round, exhibits of special interest include the pilot house from the Great Lakes steamer Elba, a replica of the Roen Steamship Company office, a traditional small craft workshop, and several unique small craft on display. The museum also operates the Gills Rock Maritime Museum and the Cana Island Lighthouse, which are open seasonally. Call the museum or visit their Web site for more information.
